  • Cardholders can sign-up and login with:

    • Password Authentication: Traditional username/email and password combination.

    • Passkeys & WebAuthN: Utilises the Web Authentication Browser API for enhanced security

    • Social Login: Authentication through various social media platforms such as Apple and Google.

    • Single Sign-On (SSO): ORGiD supports integration with OpenID Connect providers.

    Support for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with apps like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Twilio Authy, Aegis Authenticator, Cisco Duo, LastPass, 1Password, and FreeOTP.

    Support for physical hardware tokens such as a YubiKey, Nitrokey and Onlykey.

    • Cardholders can check in and check out of your workplace or event by scanning a QR code.

    • Create unlimited QR codes - QR codes can be created for a building, a floor or a room. They can also be set to auto-expire.

    • Use this feature as an attendance register.

    • ID cards can have an expiry date set, so a card auto-expires on a future date.

    • Upload your your logo

    • Upload an image as a card background, or set a colour to align with your brand or logo.

    • Define custom fields specific for your use case.

    • Define your colour scheme for buttons in the ID app.

    • Send in-app messages to your cardholder base, or to a specific cardholder.

    • New messages trigger app and/or browser notifications.

  • There are two types of QR codes:

    • Dynamic QR code is used to verify the authenticity of a digital ID card. The code can only be read by the scanner on the ORGiD website, thus ensuring a high level of trust and security over the authenticity of an ID card.

    • New cardholders can self-serve by scanning a QR code to speed up the ID card joining process.

    • QR codes can also be generated for the check in (Attendance Register) feature.

  • Comprehensive reporting available including:

    • Active vs. Inactive Cards: Track the number of issued, pending, and expired ID cards.

    • Card Issuance Summary: View cards created over time.

    • Card Expiry Report: Identify cards that are about to expire and require renewal.

    • Pending Approvals: Monitor ID cards that are in draft or waiting for admin approval.

    • ID Card Scanning Logs: View when and where ID cards were scanned for verification.

    • Attendance & Check-In Reports (For organisations using QR-based check-ins).

    • Create Special Offers for your cardholders.

    • Examples include discounts for the local coffee shop, free movie tickets — anything that helps lift engagement with your cardholder base.

    • Verifiers can also request that a digitally-signed certificate be emailed to them to confirm that they verified the digital ID card.
